POWER PACKAGE


The Performer RPM Package for 1984-Later 88", 89", 93", 96" & 98" EVO motors supplies all of the necessary components to upgrade your existing EVO stroker motor to Edelbrock Performer RPM power levels. This particular motor group consists of both 3-1/2" and 3-5/8" bore combinations. When using this kit the motor must be equipped with flat top pistons. For individual components, click here.

When asked why he chose Edelbrock products,Tom Pirone, owner and president of T.P. Engineering, commented..."I choose Edelbrock cylinder heads for a couple of important reasons... First, I really like the combustion chamber design. Most heads today use a bathtub-shaped chamber, which creates lazy airflow and causes detonation. In fact, before we started using Edelbrock heads, we had to dual-plug other heads on the market in order to cure the detonation problem. With Edelbrock's dual-quench design the incoming mixture really moves around and creates excellent burn.

Second, the raised intake port design creates excellent velocity for torque. With Edelbrock heads, we have nice flat torque curves along with excellent top-end power. With other designs, you tend to get only upstairs power and lose the bottom-end torque. These are the only heads you can be sure of making great horsepower and torque every cubic inch. I also like the way this design works with both stock 80-inch motors and large cubic inch engines."
