Edelbrock Victor Max Wedge Cylinder Heads for Big Block Chryslers
TORRANCE, CA - Edelbrock Victor Series cylinder heads for B and RB Max Wedge Chryslers are now available. Offering the proven combination of dedicated engineering and made in USA manufacturing, this new Mopar head is sure to impress.
Starting with the dedicated Edelbrock A356-T6 aluminum casting, a 15° valve angle and 290cc raised runner intake ports .650" improve air-flow on the intake side. Edelbrock engineers also extended the intake mounting flange .950" to eliminate the need for spacer plates with the raised intake port design. The 100cc exhaust ports are raised .250" to increase flow on the exhaust side and the exhaust mounting flange is extended .300". 75cc dual-quench combustion chambers increases compression over the stock 84cc chamber. Finally, the valve cover rail is raised over the stock head to allow for additional valve train clearance.
Two part numbers are available, the bare version #77939, and a version complete with 2.200" intake / 1.810" exhaust valves #77949. The #77949 does not include valve springs or retainers, allowing consumers to use recommended springs to match their cam of choice. These heads are machined to accept up to +.400" longer than stock valves for high lift camshafts.
