TORRANCE, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2005) - Edelbrock's performance expertise helped carry ATV racers Doug Eichner and Daryl Rath to successful seasons in 2004, with both riders using Edelbrock ATV carburetor kits in their winning campaigns.

Edelbrock Performer Series Carbs for ATVs are designed for high-performance four-stroke engines, providing increased power and throttle response throughout the RPM range. The accelerator pump allows crisp throttle response and external tuneability for applications that demand a broad powerband.

Duncan Racing Team rider Doug Eichner of El Cajon, Calif. won the 2004 WORCS (World Off Road Championship Series) Championship for the Pro Production ATV class. Eichner had a dominating year, finishing 1st in 9 of 12 events to take the crown. It's the third straight season Eichner has won the WORCS overall ATV Championship.

Eichner won the 2004 title on his Honda TRX 450R, outfitted with Edelbrock's 2004 TRX 450R ATV Carb Kit (#3199-twist kit). Eichner has been racing using Edelbrock carbs for five years.

Daryl Rath finished in second place in the points championship in the All Terrain Vehicle Association (ATVA) FMF Open Pro Class for the 2004 race season. In October, Rath won his second Grand National Championship Series TT race of the year on his 2004 Polaris Predator 500 ATV. This marked the second-ever Pro Level National win for Polaris and Rath's second consecutive win, a feat which no other pro level racer in the Open Pro Class accomplished in 2004.

Rath is in his second year competing on a Polaris machine at the Pro Level, and his Predator 500 features the Edelbrock Predator 500 ATV Carb kit (#3196, thumb kit). The Edelbrock Predator ATV carb is designed to provide consistent fuel delivery, even in the roughest conditions. Just ask Daryl Rath!
