FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TORRANCE, Calif. (Apr. 7, 2005) - Edelbrock's hot new Victor Spread-Port manifolds (#2801 and #2802) are ideal for outstanding top-end power. They're designed to fit drag racing big-blocks with Dart Big Chief or Brodix Big Duke cylinder heads, as well as Profilers. With an average area for the runners of 4.75 sq. in. and a minimum corner radius of .500" from the plenum to the exit, these manifolds allow the popular oval port shape to be used. These manifolds are excellent for big-inch motors with (or without) nitrous. Dyno tests by big-block guru Pat Musi showed the Victor Spread-Port manifolds provided 30 hp more than existing manifolds available on a 632 cu.-in. When Musi puts manifolds on the dyno, performance enthusiasts can be sure they're going to get accurate results. Just as impressive, the Victor Spread-Port manifolds provided an increase in torque over the competition throughout the usable rpm range - from a 16 lbs./ft. increase at 6,100 rpm to 29 lbs./ft at 7,200 rpm. #2801 fits 9.8" deck height while #2802 fits the 10.2" tall-deck heads.
