Edelbrock Performer Series Carbs Add Power To Suzuki & Kawasaki ATVs

TORRANCE, Calif. - (September 8, 2003) – Edelbrock’s Performer Series carburetors for LTZ 400 and KFX 400 ATVs (PN 3157 thumb throttle/3158 twist throttle) offer significantly more power through their specially designed bolt-on system. Performer Series carbs allow crisp throttle response and added external adjustability for applications that demand a broad power band. Specifically designed for high-performance four-stroke engines, Performer Series carbs come as a complete kit, packaged with high-quality Motion Pro throttle cables.

Performer Series Carbs use a flat needle design, which creates a low-pressure area for superior fuel atomization. The needle is externally adjustable using the metering adjustment tool, which is included in all Edelbrock motorcycle carburetor kits.

Edelbrock’s R&D staff does real-world testing on the company’s stable of ATVs and motorcycles to ensure the carburetors perform well in actual riding conditions. They also test the carbs on Edelbrock’s in-house chassis dyno, the R&D staff gets highly accurate evaluations and achieves precise fuel calibration as a result. All Performer Series carbs are wet-flow tested prior to packaging for quality assurance.

Performer Series Carbs also have an electroless nickel-plated finish for durability and good looks, plus outstanding features like an accelerator pump that’s adjustable and provides instant throttle response and easy starting. Its sealed 440 stainless steel throttle shaft bearings allow for a lifetime of smooth throttle operation, while the hard anodized flat slide offers very smooth rideability and unsurpassed wear resistance.

The Performers Series Carbs’ float bowl has an O-ring sealed fuel banjo that rotates 180 degrees for easy fuel line routing in custom applications, and a fuel overflow tube to prevent flooding in the event of the float bowl overflowing. Duncan Racing International uses Edelbrock carbs exclusively on all of their Kawasaki race machines ridden by Tavis Cain (GNC Motocross), Brad Paige (GNCC) and Doug Eichner (MX, Desert, WORCS). Eichner won the White Brothers World TT and MX title in 2003 aboard his Duncan Racing KFX450.
