TORRANCE, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2003) – Russell Performance, a leader in advanced fluid transfer systems, introduced something for better braking: Street Legal Brake Line kits for a large variety of lifted trucks/SUVs, which will be in their booth (#22232) at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov. 4-7).

Designed for several models of lifted including GM, Dodge, Ford, Toyota, Jeep and SUVs, these stainless steel brake lines add the additional length required for extended wheel travel.

These kits feature Russell’s PowerFlex hose for durability and appearance, and have OEM-style ends, allowing a direct replacement for stock lines. Russell’s Street Legal Brake Line kits feature stainless steel braided hose with zinc-plated fittings, factory assembled for a convenient installation. Kits are complete with all necessary hardware and fittings.

Replacing stock brake lines with Russell stainless steel Street Legal Brake Lines increases braking performance and reduces brake pedal travel due to the elimination of hose expansion common in factory rubber brake lines. These pre-assembled, direct bolt-on kits meet the guidelines of the D.O.T FVMSS-106 requirements for street-driven vehicles and are legal in all 50 states.

Russell street legal brake line kits are also an ideal complement for Edelbrock’s Xtreme Travel Remote Reservoir shocks.
