TORRANCE, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2003) – Edelbrock, the leader in automotive performance, has developed a new line of Head Gasket kits, making cylinder head installation easier than ever before. Specifically designed for Edelbrock parts, they are matched to Edelbrock cylinder heads and manifolds for optimum flow and performance. Now choosing the right gaskets is simple with Edelbrock-matched gaskets, which are on display in booth #22243 at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov. 4-7).
The gaskets are made of a high-density, non-asbestos fiber/metal reinforced composite material and a silicon bead for improved sealing surrounds the intake port openings. This construction provides excellent sealing performance, load retention, chemical resistance, structural strength and clean release characteristics upon disassembly.
Cylinder Head Gasket kits include head, intake, exhaust, water neck, distributor and valve cover gaskets. Initial applications include small- and big-block Chevys, small- and big-block Fords, big-block Chryslers, and Pontiacs.
