Edelbrock’s new Performer and Performer RPM AMC cylinder heads provide out-of-the-box performance. They are a direct bolt-on head for 1966-91 AMC/Jeep 343, 360, 390 and 401 c.i.d. engines. Performer heads offer street-legal performance while the Performer RPM heads are designed for non-emission vehicles. These heads are a perfect match for Edelbrock’s performance intake manifolds. Using stock-style pistons, the new heads provide about a 9.5:1 compression ratio in a 401 c.i.d. engine. All Edelbrock street performance heads are sold individually and available bare or complete and assembled with stainless steel valves, seals, guides, springs and retainers. Performer AMC/Jeep heads: complete #60139 and bare #60129. Performer RPM AMC/Jeep heads: complete #60119 and bare #60109.

Available spring ’04, the new Performer RPM Pro-Flo EFI system #3530 for 1967-69 AMC V8s and #3531 for 1970-1991 AMC/Jeep V8s includes all the outstanding features of the rest of the Edelbrock Pro-Flo EFI line. This includes: speed/density system to provide total engine control without a laptop computer; assembled induction module with aluminum Edelbrock intake, 4V throttle body, fuel rails and injectors; ECM; wiring harness; all required sensors; a calibration module (an Edelbrock exclusive); billet distributor and fuel pump. This complete EFI system is ideal for high-performance street machines as well as off-road Jeep owners who will love the all-altitude/all-attitude performance of Edelbrock multi-point fuel injection.

Also on tap for AMC/Jeep owners are Edelbrock’s new 50-state-legal premium line of Shorty Headers that bolt directly to the factory crossover pipe with no cutting or welding required. They are designed for 1972-1991 full-size Jeep Cherokees, Wagoneers, J series pickups; 1972-81 Jeep CJ15, CJ17, CJ18; and 1970-79 AMC cars, including AMX, Javelin, Matador, Rebel, Hornet and Gremlin with 304, 360 or 401 cu.-in. V8 with A.I.R.

These Shorty Headers feature 1-5/8” diameter cold rolled mild steel tubing; 5/16” thick, laser-cut and robotically welded flanges; and CNC mandrel-bent tubing for superior flow. They are available in your choice of three finishes: Nickel-plated, #6581; painted black, #65810; or high-quality ceramic-coated, #65812.
