COMPLETE RETRO-FIT KIT

CONVERSION HEADERS & ENGINE MOUNTS
FOR GM LS & LM ENGINES IN 1964-72 A-BODY CARS

These high quality engine conversion headers are made from 409 stainless steel tubing with 3/8" thick port and collector flanges. The collectors use a durable graphite donut gasket rather than a leakage-prone 3-bolt collector and gasket. Applications include 1964-72 GM A-body vehicles including Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Cutlass, 442, Skylark, Buick Special, GS-350, GS-455, GTO, Le Mans, and Tempest. LS Series Conversion Headers have 1-3/4" primary tubes stepped up 1-7/8" for maximum flow and outstanding power, and must be used with matching LS series Engine Mount Kit #6701. These headers and engine mounts are part of our complete LS series V8 Retro-Fit kit #6754.

UNIVERSAL CONVERSION SHORTY HEADERS
FOR GM LS1 V8 TO STREET ROD

#65172 & #65173 are universal Shorty headers that can be used when (converting) installing an LS1 V8 into an early street rod or muscle car. The primary tubes are 1 5/8"dia. mild steel. The port flange is 3/8" thick laser cut hot rolled steel. These headers are available ceramic or Ti-TECH coated for long-term heat and corrosion protection. The headers utilize OE style collectors with stamped OE style flanges and D-nut gaskets for the ultimate leak-free seal. A pair of short extension tubes (Approx. 5" long) and flanges are included to simplify fabrication of the exhaust system. These headers are very compact and will fit a lot of different chassis.

HEADER-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM

These systems were designed as part of a complete LS series Retro-Fit kit for 1964-72 GM A-body vehicles. Although designed for use with our conversion headers and LS1 engine mount kit #6701, they can also be adapted to fit other applications and headers. Constructed from 2-1/2" 409 stainless steel tubing with an X-pipe assembly, they include a pair of SDT mufflers #55733 and a pair of polished stainless steel tips #5582. Fits 2-door GM A-body vehicles (Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Skylark, Special, GS-350, GS-455, Cutlass, 442, Le Mans, Tempest, GTO, and Sprint).
