This complete conversion kit gives you everything you need to install a GM GEN 3 LS or LM engine into popular GM muscle cars including 1964-67 and 1968-72 GM A-body, 1967-69 and 1970-81 F-body and 1968-74 X-body vehicles. These kits consist of Edelbrock headers, header-back dual exhaust system featuring SDT mufflers and 304 stainless steel tips, and engine mount adapters. CONVERSION HEADERS & ENGINE MOUNTS
FOR GM LS & LM ENGINES IN GM MUSCLE CARS

These high quality engine conversion headers are made from 409 stainless steel tubing with 3/8" thick port and collector flanges. They are Ti-TECH coated, a ceramic based high-temp coated, for corrostion resistance and durability. The collectors use a durable graphite d-nut gasket rather than a leakage-prone 3-bolt collector and paper gasket. Applications include 1964-72 GM A-bodys (Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Cutlass, 442, Skylark, Buick Special, GS-350, GS-455, GTO, Le Mans, and Tempest) and 1967-69 and 1970-81 GM F-body (Camaro/Fireburd). LS Series Conversion Headers have 1-3/4" primary tubes stepped up 1-7/8" for maximum flow and outstanding power, and must be used with matching LS series engine mount adapter Kit #6701. UNIVERSAL CONVERSION SHORTY HEADERS
FOR GM LS1 V8 TO STREET ROD

#65172 & #65173 are universal Shorty headers that can be used when (converting) installing an LS1 V8 into an early street rod or muscle car. The primary tubes are 1 5/8"dia. mild steel. The port flange is 3/8" thick laser cut hot rolled steel. These headers are available ceramic or Ti-TECH coated for long-term heat and corrosion protection. The headers utilize OE style collectors with stamped OE style flanges and D-nut gaskets for the ultimate leak-free seal. A pair of short extension tubes (Approx. 5" long) and flanges are included to simplify fabrication of the exhaust system. These headers are very compact and will fit a lot of different chassis.

HEADER-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM

These systems were designed to offer consumers a bolt-on header-back exhaust system for small-block Chevy and LS1 engine conversion applications. For LS1 conversions, match with Edelbrock's line of LS1 conversion headers and LS1 engine mount adapters. These systems are constructed from 2-1/2" diameter 409 stainless steel tubing, include an X-pipe assembly for balanced flow, and elicit a great performance sound thanks to the included pair of SDT mufflers. A pair of polished 304 stainless steel tips, #5582, finish the systems great looks. These header-back systems are available for popular GM A-body vehicles (Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Skylark, Special, GS-350, GS-455, Cutlass, 442, Le Mans, Tempest, GTO, and Sprint) and GM F-body vehicles (Camaro/Firebird).
