| Edelbrock's new second generation data acquisition system, QwikData 2, continues to offer all the benefits of a professional data logger system at a great value. Designed and manufactured in conjunction with EFI Technology Inc., a world leader in data acquisition systems. The new lightweight compact logger control unit is fabricated with state of the art surface mounted components designed specifically for vibration resistance and EMI/RFI immunity. Logger Control Units include an internal Battery Voltage sensor, Logger Temperature sensor and Lateral and Longitudinal G sensors.
At the core of QwikData 2 is a powerful Windows based software package designed to allow users to manage and analyze more data and system feedback than ever before. The newly developed Analysis program offers a extensive package of graphing tools including time/distance plots, overlay functions, user defined math equations and an export to excel sheet function. USB communication has been added for faster downloads and configuration transfers. To simplify installation, QwikData 2 has been packaged as a Basic or Advanced system for two levels of functionality. Both systems use the same software and all components can be purchased separately for custom applications. Both loggers support up to 24 analog inputs, 6 digital inputs and 2 programmable outputs.
QwikData 2 Basic has 1 MB of memory, comes equipped with a Speed Sensor and a fully terminated harness that supports up to 8 analog inputs, 4 thermistor type temperature sensor inputs and 3 digital inputs. The Advanced System has 4 MB of memory and comes equipped with 17 sensors and 2 fully terminated harnesses that support up to 12 Analog Inputs, 4 thermistor type temperature sensor inputs, 6 digital inputs and 8 EGT K type exhaust temperature sensor Inputs. QwikData 2 is compatible with first generation QwikData sensors. All software upgrades, revisions and support are free of charge and available via Edelbrock website and support forum.
