Title: Regional Territory Service Position, Edelbrock
Location: Torrance, CA.
Education: Open
Description: The Regional Territory Assistant is responsible for increasing awareness of the company through new product education, with both jobbers and consumers. This includes events, races, jobber calls, assisting with educational seminars, and warranty support. This position will cover the Great Lakes area and surrounding regions.

Please note, that this position requires a significant amount of travel. Estimated travel is 75% of the time, including weekdays and full weekends. Included is car allowance, and company expenses paid for.

Qualifications:
  • Works with Regional Account Sales Manager(s) to identify prospective new accounts within each store territory and calls on prospects to develop new business.
  • Increases sales by responding to current customers' needs and by continuously promoting value-added products.
  • Performs a consistent call schedule each week; this includes traveling to stores in assigned region.
  • Effectively communicates the value proposition of our products to the customer base and develops sales tools that support the selling process.
  • Communicates effectively within the organization to improve competitive position and customer service levels.
  • Captures market share by developing and recommending selling strategies for Edelbrock and Russell products.
  • Helps launch new products to jobbers and consumers through cohesive promotion with supplied sales tools and effective marketing strategies.
  • Establishes new contacts/customers within the territory to develop and grow sales.
  • Gathers and reports market intelligence; researches, analyzes, and monitors technological advances to capitalize on opportunity while staying ahead of the competition. Maintains and grows the market share.
  • Sales experience in Automotive Aftermarket or other related industry.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket a plus.
  • Must be a motivated individual, that can drive business, while being unsupervised regularly.
  • Demonstrated sales, organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to effectively use a computer to manage sales and present e-commerce value-added tools to customers. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office or willing to learn.
  • Must be willing to work with show preparation and help construct displays for various shows and events.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must maintain a good driving record.

Title: 5 Axis CNC Porting Programmer/Setup Position
Location: Torrance, CA.
Responsibilites:
  • Must be able to do setups of 3-5 axis vertical cnc machining centers from start to finish with first article 100% buy off.
  • Make changes to existing cnc programs and tooling when necessary.
  • Develop new cnc programs from either cad model or blueprint.
  • Be responsible to design fixture, write g code program (typically using NX), pick tooling, setup machine, machine part to spec.
  • Help develop tooling including special cutting tools and fixturing on new product.
  • Follow all production documentation (ie. setup sheets, routing sheets, blueprints) and advise on any changes.
  • Provide project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and completed.
  • Clearly communicate issues and expectations to management.
  • Document all new part events and milestones and provide status reports to management.
Description: Reporting to the "Chief Manufacturing Engineer" the 5 axis programmer is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining all 3-5 axis cnc porting programs for both cylinder head and intake manifold automotive parts. Responsible for the implementation, execution, control and completion of prototype and 1st run cnc porting jobs.
Requirements:
  • 10 Years work experience in cnc programming
  • 5 years work experience in 5 axis cnc programming

Title: Facilities & Machine Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

  • Test and troubleshooting, all machinery, power equipment
  • Adhere to and manage the preventive maintenance schedule and on all power equipment.
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

  • Manufacturing supervisors are responsible for the execution of the production schedule.

Title: Mechanical Draftsman

Description: The CAD Draftsman operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, including creating, updating and modifying drawings produced from NX Unigraphics & Pro Engineer 3D modeling software.
